Our remarkable journey in a short period of launching S.E.E.4VETS has leaded us to amazing relationships. The Arizona Department of the Military Order of the Purple Heart is collaborating with S.E.E.4VETS on several fronts. This emerging strategic relation is welcomed. The Mercer family believes patriotism and service are important threads in the Mercer family fabric. Rob Mercer, President, Mercer Family Vineyards, served as a captain in the US Marine Corps in the 1990’s. After the attacks on 9-11, he reenlisted to serve in Iraq…When Rob returned from service, he and John Derrick, VP Mercer Family Vineyards, decided to plant a special vineyard…John lost a best friend – Richard Guadagno, who was among the patriots who fought and died on United Flight 93. Thus, in honor and memory, nine hundred and eleven vines were hand-planted in BLOCK 93 of the Cavalie Vineyard. The West Valley Mavericks Foundation, a non-profit organization, which proudly supports the West Valley in a variety of ways, and S.E.E.4VETS have been steadily evolving into strong strategic relation. They are key participants/organizers in the Patriot All-American Golf Invitational at the Wigwam Golf Club in December.
